JOB SUMMARY :
- Build and maintain a talent pipeline that aligns with the client’s needs and output requirements to assist manager with hiring
- Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
- Build and maintain strategic partnership with clients through an extensive and detailed understanding of the clients business, strategic direction, processes, and policies
- Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan for each open position under the supervision of the manager
- Oversee consistent execution of recruiting plan to ensure the right quantity and quality of talent
- Efficiently and effectively fill open positions
- Consistently exceed client and talent expectations
- Manage daily operations and tasks of subordinate staff
- Timekeeping and staff evaluations
- Train staff and offer refresher training
- Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize workload
- Coordination and attendance of job fairs with manager
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrate the ability to identify customers’ needs and to deliver support
- Create job descriptions and submit to manager for approval and utilization
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
- Post openings in newspaper advertisements, with professional organizations, and in other position appropriate venues
The Staffing Manager is responsible for recruiting, sourcing, interviewing and successfully matching candidates to client profiles and fulfilling client orders for temporary, temp-to-hire and specific permanent positions, per the direction of management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Interview, screen, and test applicants to determine their skill set and individual characteristics to assess placement opportunities
- Maintain documentation of associates work history, testing, absences and work order information in our database
- Develop and maintain leads database of prospective clients
- Perform quality calls to candidates providing coaching and mentoring to ensure the successful completion of the assigned position
- Provides management and counseling to prospective and current assignment and direct hire candidates
- Conducts field marketing calls to prospective clients leading to opportunities to identify new business opportunities through skill marketing
- Maintain accurate and current information and related documents on all current and targeted potential clients
- Provides potential leads to sales personnel
- Maintain minimum standard performance measures including weekly activity goals for connects interviews and leads as well as established monetary productivity goals
- Markets new business in new offices by placing recruiting ads and participating in trade shows / job fairs
- Negotiate pay and bill rates
- Manage house accounts for growth of revenue
- Demonstrates industry knowledge or functional expertise
- Ensure company policy as well as federal and state employment law compliance
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS :
- Participates in professional / community boards and projects
- Assists Associates in career counseling and resume revisions
- Train Associates on the time sheet process and work with Accountant to process payroll
- Manages relationships with Client Company by partnering to provide staffing solutions
- Tour client facilities and seek to gain full understanding of client’s goals and objectives

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE & OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
Formal Education :
College Degree in related field preferred (not required)
Skills :
- Good customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to solve problems
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize them effectively
Experience :
- 3 years of staffing industry experience
- Professional business experience including personnel hiring responsibilities
Knowledge :
- Computer literacy
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
WORK SCHEDULE :
The official hours for this position are Monday to Friday from 7 : 30 AM to 5 : 30 PM and evenings or weekends as needed.
COMPENSATION :
We are compensating between $35,000 and $45,000 for this position. Your salary will be dependent on your experience and qualifications.
