About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 10-Hour Days (0700-1730, Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri) with self-scheduling for call equivalent to 1 day a week and 1 weekend a month Guaranteed Hours : 40 Hours Per Week Experience : Minimum 2 Years License : Active Nursing License Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS Must-Have : - Experience in monitoring and circulating in a cath lab - Familiarity with IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) and Impella devices - Ability to respond to calls, be in the hospital dressed, and in the procedure room within 30 minutes Job Description : - Work in a high-volume cardiac cath lab with 3 suites / labs - Handle 15-20 cases per day on average - Manage patients with diagnostic and interventional cases - Operate and monitor Mac Lab;
no scrubbing required for RNs - Utilize EMR / Equipment : Allscripts - Sunrise 6.1 - Easy access to cardiologists during daytime starting at 0730 with on-call availability after hours - Collaborate with 8 cath lab techs, including a lead tech - Hospital provides blue scrubs - Attend unit / department specific orientation to be prepared to start with a brief 1-2 days orientation followed by practice call for 1-2 weeks - Participate in mandatory call / standby as required - Support from Manager / Charge Nurse readily available Join a dynamic team and take part in critical care for cardiac patients in a leading cath lab environment.
