RESPONSIBILITIES :
Operating Room Nurse (OR RN) care for patients before, during, and after surgery and assist the surgeon in procedures. The OR RN provides direct and individualized care to patients.
OR RN job responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications
- Coordinate with medical team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Create and maintain sterile and safe surgical environment
- OR RN conduct pre- and post-operative education
