Salary : $65,000 to $95,000 based on experience

Duties and Responsibilities :
- Oversees all administrative and training processes for MHS clinical education and training programs, including, but not limited to, Multi-state Medical Assistant Program, the MHS Virginia Nurse Aide Education Program, the Patient Safety Associate (PSA) training program, Basic Life Support (BLS), Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), and Handle with Care.
- Acts as the Program Coordinator and Primary Instructor for the MHS Education Program, assuming administrative responsibility and accountability for the program by performing all activities necessary to ensure Program compliance with Virginia Code and the VA Department of Health Professions Board of Nursing.
- Participates in the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Program. Reviews data from training evaluations and clinical incident reporting to provide applicable recommendations for improvement.
- Participates in planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning experiences and training curriculums of clinical service lines, including annual training and skills refreshers.
- Performs activities to measure and to sustain compliance of the Education and Training Department in accordance with applicable federal, state, and third-party accrediting, certifying, and / or regulatory entities.
- Makes recommendations to senior management for development and improvement of training curriculums which are designed to meet educational training program and operational needs.
- Applies effective principles and appropriate instructional techniques to facilitate adult learning and evaluation, using a variety of modern methods, tools, and resources.
- Provides evidence-based didactic and hands-on instruction regarding healthcare topics, including clinical experiences and lessons in professional responsibility as a healthcare provider.
Qualifications :
- Current, unrestricted Missouri license or multistate licensure privilege as a registered nurse (RN).
- At least two (3) years of experience as an RN.
- At least one (1) year of direct client care or supervisory experience in the provision of long-term care services as an RN.
- At least three (3) years of clinical instruction and training experience.
- Excellent communication and classroom instruction skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
