As anAdmissions Scheduler on our Behavioral Health team at Nystrom & Associatesyou will be the first point of contact for patients - answering in-bound phone calls and making out-bound phone calls to schedule patients for medical appointments at one of our outpatient mental health clinics.
You'll be part of acall centerteamhelping patients who are experiencing personal, emotional, marriage, family or psychological problems.
You'll play an important part of that process byanswering phones and handling calls in a friendly, welcoming, and timely manner.

Hours (Please ensure that you can work the listed shift below - full-time only) : Monday - Friday 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PMMonday - Friday 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PMMonday - Friday 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PMMonday - Friday 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 30 PM Position is remote eligible after an initial 60-90 days of in-person training in Arden Hills, MN.
Pay rate : $18.00 per hour Responsibilities include : Promptly answer phone calls from patients and referents seeking behavioral health servicesSchedule patients for behavioral health services for Minnesota clinicsGuide callers through scheduling processes and provide education about available servicesProcess internal and external referrals;
place outbound calls to schedule requested servicesManage EHR inbox; promptly address and respond to messages and inquiriesComplete other duties as assigned by leadership Key Attributes of a successful candidate include : Customer service skills an empathetic, active listener, who has strong follow-through skills.
De-Escalation at times, you will take calls from individuals in a crisis of some kind, the ability to utilize de-escalation skills in those situations is key.
Critical thinking skills the ability to think creatively, problem solve, work independently, and identify how to best address the issues a patient may be calling in regards to Requirements : Displays empathy and sensitivity in navigating complex situations with patientsStrong ability to multi-task, handle stress, deescalate, and problem solvePositive attitude and ability to be flexibleWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office;
