This role requires HR education and experience, advanced excel, analysis and problem solving skills, and compliance expertise with first-time quality work.

This individual will have an opportunity to impact the full lifecycle of employment , including but not limited to : interviewing, benefit engagement, training, performance management, compliance management and employee event development in addition to cross-functional engagement with management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, screen, interview, and hire candidates. Utilize data to clearly define potential candidates. Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing requirements and establish hiring goals and priorities, as well as provide guidance on best recruitment practices.
  • Develop and maintain job descriptions and job postings that accurately reflect the requirements and responsibilities of each position.
  • Responsible for HR documentation and processes - handbook, performance and coaching, policy updates, insurance coordination, workers compensation, garnishments, support orders, etc.
  • Employee engagement through coordination of events and activities.
  • Audit employee status updates in ADP Workforce Now and e-files for timeliness and accuracy.
  • Oversee timely and accurate processing of employee data via HRIS systems, including ADP Workforce Now.
  • Work closely with the payroll and accounting departments.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.
  • OSHA compliance familiarity and Form 300 filing experience.
  • Maintain training matrix and ensure adequate training follow-up.
  • Calculate attrition rates and perform exit interviews.
  • Additional business tasks as needed for corporate office and leadership team.
  • Professional, reliable, and consistent in attendance.

Strongly Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelors in Human Resources or related field required
  • Masters degree preferred
  • SHRM or other HR certification required
  • 8+ years of HR experience in a high growth environment; preferably in mid-to-large sized company
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills required (i.e, excel, word, powerpoint)
  • Experience with Recruiting, OSHA, and AAIM.
  • Compliance oriented - familiar with applicable local, state and federal rules and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Organized, adaptable, analytical, efficient and solution-oriented.
  • Independent, self-starter with first time work quality in a fast paced work environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for actions based on the analysis.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, with demonstrated abilities to juggle multiple priorities and support executive leadership.
