AAC is seeking a Systems Administrator for an exciting opportunity in downtown Columbia, SC. This position would require the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance.
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with at least 1 year of experience that is excited to troubleshoot IT issues in person as well as over the phone.
The first 6 months of this position would be fully onsite, Monday Friday. Thereafter, you would receive 2 days remote per week.
The proper candidate should be open to working any shift between the hours of 7 AM 9 PM.
Requirements :
- Associates degree in Computer Science or related field; OR
- Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) IT Infrastructure certification; OR
- 2 years IT Help Desk support experience in a Windows Active Directory environment; OR
- 2 years’ experience in Computer / IT operations / support in a Windows Active Directory environment
- Excellent customer service in a phone support capacity
- Strong understanding of Active Directory
- Knowledge of SCCM
- Knowledge of deployment and troubleshooting Microsoft Office including MS Outlook
- Experience utilizing a ticketing system
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
- Understanding of the 7 layer OSI Model
