Material Handler/Forklift
Pridestaff is currently seeking a Material Handler / Forklift for a wood manufacturing company located in Rialto, CA. This a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow.

- Starting Pay Rate : $21.50- $22.50
- Shift : Monday Friday, 5am to 1 : 30pm (mandatory over time with little to no notice is required) Description :
Job summary : Depending on assignment, our team members may do any of the following duties :
- Inspect incoming loads
- Check shipping documents for correct customer information
- Operating propane and electric forklift vehicles (Cherry picker and sit-down)
- Perform start of shift preventative maintenance inspection
- Load semi-trucks and box trucks with required finished product
- Assist in inventory cycle counts as needed
- Material preparation and material handling
- Staging and packaging finished product for delivery
- Other general warehouse duties as needed
- Ability to work with others in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to work overtime with short notice Preferred Experience / Requirements :
- Past experience in commercial woodworking (doors, millwork, cabinets, etc. a plus.
- Past experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Past recent experience in shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory, cycle counting and forklift operation (Cherry Picker and Sit down Forklift)
- Can perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools
- Must be able to lift up 50lbs, lift 100lbs in a teamlift
- Must have good attention to detail with ability to check shipping documents for accuracy
- Must have steel toe shoes or steel toe boots
- Must be willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check prior to start
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $21.50 - $22.50 Per Hour
