Human Resources Department

The Human Resources (HR) team is responsible for managing the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment through retirement, collaborating closely with various departments such as New Site Development, Construction, Operations, Sales, Finance, Tech & Systems, and Legal to ensure a cohesive and supportive work environment.

Our HR team is distinguished by its proactive and strategic approach.

Unlike in many organizations where HR functions are limited to administrative oversight, our HR professionals are empowered with the authority and responsibility to drive critical processes directly.

This includes talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and organizational planning. By leveraging in-house expertise, our HR team can align long-term organizational sustainability with innovative HR practices and cost-effective strategies.

This alignment ensures that our workforce is engaged, motivated, and equipped to contribute to the company's success.

Position Overview

Vantage is seeking a high-potential, meticulous, and dynamic Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead our executive search team.

You will be responsible for leading a dedicated team of Talent Acquisition Partners and Sourcers that drive the full talent acquisition lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding for all Vice President (VP) and above hiring needs.

You will lead and support a specific Vantage business line that will continue to evolve as our business grows. Fundamental to this will be the effective development and execution of the company’s hiring plan, headcount planning, data-driven reporting, diversity and inclusion, and scaling culture.

You will use our values and strive for greatness to guide and develop the next generation of employees to empower Vantage Data Centers to continue to succeed in achieving its mission and vision.

This position will play a pivotal role in our company’s growth and maintain our competitive edge in the market. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, you will play a critical role in the development and execution of Vantage's executive search strategy, contributing to the company’s mission and vision by securing top-tier leadership talent.

This role can be remote based in North America.

Essential Job Functions

  • Executive Full-Cycle Recruitment :
  • Lead all aspects of the executive search process, recruiting efforts, and create a lasting and impactful candidate experience;

ensure efficient program flow with our internal business partners, while focusing on consistency.

  • Focus on passive sourcing with a goal of eliminating 3rd party staffing agency support.
  • Be the primary recruiter on assigned requisitions where applicable.
  • Meet and drive assigned TA and Vantage department goals, metrics, and KPIs.
  • Employer Branding :
  • Promote the company's employer brand through various channels, including social media, career fairs, and networking events.
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives to attract top talent and enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Technology :
  • Leverage technology such as ChatGPT, Textio, Prelude, LinkedIn, Indeed, Workday, and others to find the very best candidates.
  • Drive continued use and evolution of technology adoption through continued learning sessions, training, and coaching with team members.
  • Create and ensure accurate reporting, data & analytics, and talent insights where applicable for executive updates, business reviews, etc. as assigned.
  • Ownership :
  • Lead requisition reviews with assigned department(s) with appropriate content and status updates prepared.
  • Generate creative and innovative ideas to solution on niche, hard-to-fill REQs.
  • Lead the management of end-to-end talent acquisition practices including but not limited to sourcing, recruiting, diversity & inclusion, and TA operations with a specific aim of increasing the number of high-quality direct hires into the business.
  • Collaboration :
  • Assist in job requisition assignment and partnership strategies.
  • In partnership with NA, EMEA, and APAC Vantage TA leaders, continue to simplify and improve global recruiting process.
  • Upskill Vantage management and leadership in standard process (as well as consistent) recruiting practices.
  • Work collaboratively and in partnership with a variety of collaborators from Design Engineering, Construction, Tech & Systems, Finance, Legal, Operations, Sales, and Human Resources.

Develop relationships with those partners to better understand the business and future needs in each department.

  • Strategy :
  • Create and implement the talent acquisition strategy and plan for each year while suggesting process improvements, platforms, and awareness of current trends.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of ATS software (and associated metrics) to drive performance, decision making, and improved outcomes.
  • Provide trends, analysis, and intelligence on existing (as well as new country) labor and recruiting market practices and planning (when considering new territories) to ensure talent acquisition can be delivered according to business need.
  • Coaching :
  • Manage and mentor team members in Talent Acquisition across all full-cycle recruitment practices to drive improved partnerships and performance, all while keeping in line with Vantage’s core values.
  • Additional duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

  • Experience :
  • 3+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition.
  • Proven experience leading the full talent acquisition life cycle within high growth companies is preferred.
  • Recent experience with Workday Recruiting, LinkedIn, and Indeed is preferred.
  • Data Center experience also preferred, but not essential however should have track record recruiting into technical roles (Design, Engineering, Tech & Systems, Construction, Operations, etc.)
  • International experience desirable, and more specifically Canada.
  • Skills :
  • Demonstrable track record of improving talent acquisition processes, optimizing candidate experience, improving direct hire / fill rates, improving onboarding experiences and then building internal talent pipelines (feeding into workforce / succession planning).
  • Knowledge of ATS systems and highly adept with data and analytics.
  • A team player that can influence and develop effective partnerships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.

  • Some travel may be required (across North America and Canada) but will be less than 15%. This may increase over time as the business evolves.
  • Minimum of two (2) days per week in office is preferred for candidates located in Colorado or another Vantage location.

Additional Details

  • Salary Range : $105,000-$125,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations).
  • This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.
  • Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
