The Program Manager Journeyman EN will provide Functional and specialized support, strategic direction, and oversight of the operations and business functions in support of AFRL enterprise, specifically the Engineering and Technical Management (EN) division.
Responsibilities
- Apply full range of program management philosophies, policies, and procedures to perform a wide range of acquisition management activities in support of existing and future programs.
- Support Government leads with program management lifecycle requirements, subsystems, and equipment.
- Support strategic scheduling and planning efforts and utilize a variety of systems to track, manage, and report efforts.
- Provide technical support, coordination, and planning for integrated program reviews and conferences.
- Assist in planning, organizing, and managing critical aspects of the development, production, and / or deployment of capabilities, systems, subsystems, and equipment.
- Identify risks and risk mitigation plans.
- Develop and implement Capability Based Planning processes for Air Force Material Command.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ related work experience
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the DoD OR
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ related work experience
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the DoD
- Possess an Active Secret Clearance
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated application of engineering principles, criteria, and procedures to DoD, AF, and common engineering / scientific principles, processes, and procedures to improve performance and sustainability of existing and future AF and joint service weapon systems, USAF systems (e.
g. Vanguard programs), subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, post award project / program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles.
Demonstrated application of program management philosophy, policies, and procedures for DoD, AF, and other Services systems, subsystems, equipment, procurement activities, post award project / program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their lifecycles.
