About The Position
Job Title : Mobile Radiologic Technologist Job Specialty : X-Ray Technologist Job Duration : Not specified Shift : Day - 5x8 - 10am - 6 : 30pm, 40 hours per week Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Not specified License : State Licenses as applicable Certifications : ARRT Certification Must-Have : Valid driver's license in good standing, and vaccination against COVID-19 (with exemptions available upon request with proper documentation) Job Description : Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities.
- Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.- Transmit X-Ray images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
- Unload portable X-Ray equipment and transport it into facilities to perform exams as ordered by physicians.- Ensure clinically diagnostic, technically competent x-ray images are obtained.
- Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation.- Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily as per protocol.
- Communicate regularly with dispatch and management.- Interact professionally and efficiently with peers, supervisory staff, and clients.
- Maintain the vehicle and X-ray equipment.- Understand physical demands including pushing / pulling equipment that weighs between 50-100 lbs, several times a day with the assistance of ramps and pulleys.
