Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Surgery nurse you must be detail oriented, flexible, able to juggle multiple priorities without missing a beat, adept with technical skills, a team player, and must have excellent communication skills.
You must also be able to think critically in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

- 10 OR Suites, Level II Trauma Center

Responsibilities :
- Under the general direction of the Clinical Manager / Director, coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care for geriatric, adult, adolescent (16 years and over), and pediatric (6 months to 16 years,).
- Nursing care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, the generic and unit structure standards and / or AORN Standards of care if appropriate.
- Accountable for identification of risks, hazards and mitigation efforts of unsafe practices.
What qualifications you will need :
- Must have experience working as a Circulating RN and have strong trauma, ortho, neuro, and Davinci skills or be able to attend one of StaRN + cohorts.
- Must have strong critical thinking and multitasking skillset.
- Must have a minimum of 1-year Operating Room experience.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Graduation from a school of nursing required.
- Current Missouri RN license or Multistate RN License from a participating compact state required.
- BCLS required.
- CNOR preferred.
