Purpose
The Oracle Integration Cloud Service Senior Developer is a key member of the Delivery Practice. As an OICS Senior Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing comprehensive integrations for Floor & Decor.
This role requires deep understanding of integration best practices, Oracle Cloud services and strong ability to solve complex technical challenges.
Your primary focus will be on translating business requirements into scalable, efficient, and sustainable solutions.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or Business Management (relevant experience can be substituted for the required education based on one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)
Subject Matter Expert in designing and building integrations leveraging Oracle Integration Cloud Services (OICS)
Must have expertise in OICS architecture and implementing best practices.
Expertise in Process Cloud Service and Visual Builder Cloud Service is a plus.
Partner with ERP & Retail functional teams in designing.
Mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Stay abreast of industry trends and upcoming roadmap to ensure solutions align with best practices and Oracle roadmap.
Must have expertise in various integration patterns.
Conduct performance assessments and look for opportunities to optimize efficiency.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand evolving needs and provide solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Establish and enforce best practices for OICS & VBCS.
Conduct thorough testing of solutions to ensure they meet quality standards.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
Stay informed about Oracle Cloud Infrastructure updates and new features, incorporating them into solution designs.
Good to have but not required working experience of ERP / Retail.
Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud technologies, architecture, and integration capabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Oracle Cloud Integration Specialist Certification is required.
Proficiency with Agile methodologies and participation in daily scrum and backlog refinement meetings
Ability to work on multiple projects at one time as they are in various stages of development and deployment.
Proven business, infrastructure and support problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
Exhibits leadership skills as part of a Scrum Team

POSITION PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency with sprint management tools such as Jira
Ability to quickly grasp and learn new tools and technologies as needed to complete job tasks
Consistently demonstrates a thorough understanding of customer requirements and offer suggestions to improve user experience
Essential Functions
Leads the planning, definition, and coordination of architecture related activities for integrations and extensions.
Must have experience in working effectively with different application integrations like Oracle SAAS, databases, and on-prem / SAAS boundary applications.
Strong development experience in creating app-driven and scheduled integrations.
Define and document coding standards per best practices.
Creation and consumption of Webservices (SOAP / REST).
Must have knowledge of security, authentication, and authorization in Oracle OICS.
Must have experience with Javascript, JSON, AJAX, Web Services, XML, HTML, CSS& UI / UX.
Must have SQL / PL SQL performance tuning capabilities with a good understanding of various version capabilities.
Possesses deep knowledge in OCI services and good to have but not require multi-year experience in full life cycle implementation on leveraging it.
Collaborate with Business partners & Functional team to gain in-depth knowledge of the business success drivers, industry trends, regulatory issues and competitive marketplace to develop and deliver value added business solutions that have a measurable impact on results.
Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models.
Understand, advocate, and augment the principles of information technology strategies.
Identify solution gaps, requirement gaps, and key design decisions, communicating and documenting their associated options, considerations, and providing recommendations based on prior experience and leading practice
Partners with application, infrastructure, integration, data & analytics teams to bridge the gap between various teams and projects to make sure that solutions are consistent with the target architecture and are cost-effective and rationalized to meet the business goals.
Define the principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise'
s future-state architecture vision.
Responsible for communicating and driving adherence to established architecture standards, design principles and guidelines, promoting leverage of existing standard platforms, solutions and technology, and maximizing existing technology investments.
Responsible for the capture of architectural goals, including ensuring that the architect patterns developed meet those architect goals, looking through both strategic and tactical lenses.
Communicates "big picture" to Business and IT stakeholders at all levels of the organization to achieve alignment with target state architecture and roadmap by domain or by value-stream.
Possess a strong knowledge of different platforms, software systems, and / or technologies to suggest the best solutions for the organization to use.
Lead Joint Integration design, develop execution plans and develop IT Product strategy for solving complex business problems across multiple cross functional areas, IT teams and IT Products.
Drives Product KPIs for monitoring of Product / Project success and developing ways to improve feature development and user adoption
Ability to communicate clearly and present complex information to users by translating technical information for non-technical stakeholders
Proficient in Oracle Service Request and Enhancement Request processes; ability to partner with Oracle and influence future product direction by participating in various Product User groups.
Proficient in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), should be able to lead and co-ordinate Design, various test cycles and development to ensure delivery of quality and on-time product delivery.
