Registered Nurse - Renal Transplant Unit

Job DescriptionThe Opportunity : Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Renal Transplant Unit.

You will provide care to chronically ill patients recovering from kidney transplant procedures and other complex conditions and treatment plans.

This is a fast-paced high acuity unit that is growing due to continued success of our Kidney Transplant Services that continues to increase our number of kidney transplants each year.

This team has a supportive leadership that will support you in achieving your career goals.Shift Details : 6 : 45 pm to 7 : 15 amThe Work : * Utilizes the nursing process.

Performs patient care delegating patient care tasks and for supervision of other patient care staff* Coordinates the plan of care for a group of assigned patients and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated to ensure optimal patient outcomes* Demonstrates proficiency and abides by policies rules guidelines and proceduresWe are seeking top performing nurses who are resilient, adaptable, and thrive under stressful and high pressure environments.

You will need to have strong assessment skills and the ability to see the big picture to provide proactive patient care.
