About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in ICU setting

License : Must have valid nursing license in hand prior to start date

Certifications : BCLS, ACLS

Must-Have :

Previous charge experience preferred

Experience with Cerner charting system preferred

Ability to manage patient ratio of 1 : 2

Description :

This position requires a registered nurse with a strong background in ICU.

The RN will be responsible for the care of critically ill patients, including those with sepsis, DKA, and respiratory failure.

The nurse must be able to interpret and manage dysrhythmias and multi-system organ failure.

Skills in IV insulin protocols, blood product administration, and central line management are essential.

The RN will assist with the management of ventilated patients and care procedures such as phlebotomy and wound care.

The nurse will participate in infection prevention and adhere to isolation precautions.

Availability to float to other units as needed is required.

Weekend coverage is expected, with one weekend every three weeks.

All candidates must have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.

Preferred skills include experience with high-flow nasal cannula and sedation administration.
