Sr. Data Analyst, Enterprise Strategic Program Management

Under moderate supervision, designs and implements processes and solutions associated with a wide variety of data sets used for data / text mining, and analysis to enable informed business decisions.

Gains insight into key business problems and deliverables by applying statistical analysis techniques to examine structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources.

With moderate direction, creates solutions from initial concept to production. Communicates results to a broad range of audiences.

Effectively uses current and emerging technologies to evaluate trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to management, via understanding of the business model and the information available for analysis.

Typically uses data, statistical and quantitative analysis, limited modeling, and fact-based management to drive decision making.

Mentors less senior staff. Works in cross functional projects and programs. Routinely presents to management.

Essential Functions

About the Team -

In this role, you will work as a business analyst for FedEx business domains, analyzing business and operational data to identify out-of-the-box opportunities, develop actionable insights, and make recommendations to management via understanding of the business model and information available for analysis.

You will play a vital role in defining and advancing the organization's strategies and initiatives to deliver value. You will use data, statistical and quantitative analysis, basic modeling, and fact-based management to drive decision-making.

You will collaborate closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to present facts to senior leadership that inform strategic initiatives within the business domain.

• Design and implement advanced processes for data / text mining and analysis.
• Gain insights into key business problems using statistical analysis techniques on structured and unstructured data.
• Utilize emerging technologies to evaluate trends and provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.
• Present complex findings clearly to executive leadership and prepare executive-level reports and presentations.
• Continuously enhance understanding of the business model and data available for analysis.
• Employ complex data, statistical, and quantitative analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong analytical skills : able to define metrics to measure how initiatives impact the business.
• Proficient in data visualization and advanced analytics software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Python, R).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for presenting complex data to stakeholders, including senior executives.
• Strong human relations and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics or Finance.

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years of work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations analysis, marketing analysis, simulation development, and / or predictive analytics.

Domicile Information

This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Preference is to be hybrid and to work at a FedEx office location.

Pay Transparency : This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations.

If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level.

Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law.

An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay : U.S. Pay Range : $6,168.90 / month - $10,898.39 / month
