The Senior Software Engineer takes a leadership role in the research, design, and development of computer software systems in conjunction with hardware product development.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Lead Projects and the SDLC of custom-developed software solutions across multiple lines of business to drive value
• Lead teams of analysts and designers in the development and initiation of new software programs and applications
• Complete the quality assurance tasks associated with program logic, data processing, and error resolution.
• Participate in the analysis of software requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
• Fulfill software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation as directed.
• Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of application development best practices.
• Conduct research on emerging application development software products, languages, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts.

What You Will Need

• 4-year college diploma or university degree in software engineering or computer science and / or 3 years equivalent work experience
• Experience with database and operating systems, including SQL Server and / or Oracle
• Experience developing against the full SQL Server product stack (DB, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
• Experience developing .NET-based applications (ASP.NET, WF, WPF, WCF, Silverlight, etc.).
• Experience developing BizTalk solutions is a plus!
• Solid working knowledge of current Internet technologies
