Job Description
Our Project Engineers are a liaison between the estimators, project managers and field teams, who are responsible for assisting the project team with the planning, management, and administration of the project(s) to which they are assigned.
The variety of duties requires that the Project Engineer be organized, detail-oriented, a quick learner and an effective communicator.
Responsibilities : (Dual Role, additional duties will be discussed at time of interview.)
- Contracts
- Routing contract to all applicable parties for signature
- Filing executed contract to project job file
- Payment Performance Bonds
- Procure (if job requires bond)
- Plans Make copies of correct plans for Superintendent & Sub use Document control
- Submittals Create transmittal package Update submittal log spreadsheet
- File returned submittals
- Subcontracts & Purchase Orders Review quotes with estimating team for correct quantities & scope
- Create, maintain & distribute a jobsite contact list for Owners and Internally
- Jobsite visits to verify subcontractor quantities
