JOB SUMMARY
Working under supervision, the Maintenance Technician performs preventive maintenance, feeder maintenance, and equipment repair.
They may also train employees and troubleshoot electro-mechanical equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Train employees in operation and maintenance of machinery.
- Troubleshoot non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment.
- Comply with all company security policies.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Basic mathematics and safety practices.
- Basic computer operation in a Windows environment.
- Use of specialized maintenance tracking programs.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Associates degree in electronics with emphasis in servo positioning theory or equivalent discipline.
- Zero to two years of work-related experience in electro-mechanical equipment preferred.
