medical / religious exemptions accepted with a completed exemption form Job Description : No RTO allowed for Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day.
Must work 2 out of 3 of the holiday bundles : (Thanksgiving & the day after, Christmas Eve & Christmas Day, New Year's Eve & New Year’s Day)- Travel experience strongly preferred.
If the traveler has 2+ years of Level 1 Experience, they may be considered.- First-timers accepted with 2+ years Level 1 Trauma Experience.
- Travelers will be scheduled for weekends as needed (weekend nights include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).- Travel compliance document deadline is 10 days before start.
- Floating to Pediatric ED is optional; floating to Adult PCUs is expected based on staffing needs. Potential floating to ED Holding and Trauma as needed.
- Facility is a Level I Trauma, Children's Hospital, Teaching Hospital with short-term, acute care.- Scrub color is black and not provided.
- Charting utilizes Cerner system.- Compliance modules are completed during orientation and annually, recorded by Unit Educators through Learning Central.
- Travelers can work up to 12 consecutive months before needing to take a break between assignments.- Orientation hours are included;
modules are billable up to 4 hours, with additional time considered non-billable.- RTO restrictions apply; must be approved, and more than 7 days off requires client approval.
- Personal transportation is required due to the location's lack of public transportation or ride-sharing availability. - Drug screens are required within 30 days of starting, and candidates must be committed to completing them.
- Travelers are allowed to return if they have been out of the system for 12 months or more.
