We are an 8 bed LevelIII NICU that helps meet the complex needs of ourcommunity.
Management of patientshaving or requiring :
Born at EGA of 28weeks ( 2 weeks)
Respiratory distress / failurerequiring conventional ventilation or lesser degree of respiratorysupport (CPAP, NC, High flow / Low Flow,NIV)
Readmission for convalescent management ofinfants post-retinal, post neurosurgery, and post pediatricsurgery
Any seizures or seizure likeactivity
Management of care prior totransfer of newborns with congenital :
Gastro-intestinal lesions
Heart disease that mayneed cardiothoracic surgerymanagement
Neurological lesions (except for aprenatally diagnosed vein of Galen malformation) that may needneurosurgery management
Urological lesions (andwithout the pregnancy being complicated byanhydramnios / oligohydramnios) that may need urological surgerymanagement

Qualifications :
MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED :
Graduate of a nursingprogram
MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED :
New Graduates of a nursing programeligible
MINIMUMLICENSURE / CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW :
CurrentLicense in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC / eNLCMultistate License.
BLS certificationrequired.
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS :
For PRN positions : One year ofnursing experience in a hospital setting preferred
Bachelors degree preferred
Advancedcertification in field of specialty, if applicable (see addendum)
