Applicants should be well-versed in chair-side assisting, proper sterilization techniques and OSHA protocols.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities : Prepares treatment room for patient by following prescribed procedures and protocols, including surgical setup.
- Provides information to patients by answering questions regarding treatment and pre-op / post-op instructions.Sterilizing and delivering instruments to treatment area;
assisting surgeon during procedures.Documents dental care services by charting in patient records.Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing daily tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Qualifications :
- X-ray Certification (preferred)
- CPR Certified (preferred)
- Experience working as a Dental Assistant 1 year
