Corrpro Companies is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager. This is a remote position but you must live in Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, or Minnesota.

Corrpro, a subsidiary of Azuria Water Solutions Company, is a corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure.

Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies.

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for the execution of annual sales plans to support revenue and profit objectives of Corrpro Companies.
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with oil and gas, Government customers in need of corrosion assessment, corrosion protection design, installation, and testing services.
  • Manage the business development effort, generate, and qualify leads for subsequent development, perform key account planning and maintain favorable business relationships with key accounts.
  • Prepare bids and proposals, solicit, and evaluate subcontractor proposals, execute bid strategy, provide input into the estimating process, and generate market intelligence for capture and subsequent analysis.
  • Assist in the development of marketing communications and product portfolio decisions, coordinate pilot projects and spearhead management of customer service.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 5 years of industrial materials or services business development experience with Oil and Gas, Department of Defense, or Municipal customers.
  • Experience selling technical products and services with government and oil and gas customers preferred.
  • Knowledge of Corrosion Control / Cathodic Protection preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced in creating estimates and working through negotiations.
  • Strong computer skills using Excel and CRM required.
  • Must be self-motivated, well-organized and a team player.
  • Experience calling on and working with top level management and government officials.
  • Must be able to travel to the potential customer sites.
