Description

The Precision Health Platform is at the core of research and care : it underpins software to support clinical research studies and registries, Verily’s virtual care management products, and digital biomarkers.

Based on Cloud architecture and FHIR, the platform comprises foundational services to accelerate the development and connection of our products.

This enables the Verily research and care products to be interoperable, consistent, and allows us to launch to market faster with greater impact.

The Data Delivery Product Manager will define the vision and strategy for generating data products from Verily and other healthcare data.

They will own the roadmap for a software system that runs and manages data pipelines and data transformations to generate analytical data products at scale.

In this role, they will work closely with engineering to develop the technical architecture and system infrastructure for data delivery, and work with outside privacy experts to automate and scale the linking of different data sets.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for data delivery, aligning technical capabilities with overall business objectives.
  • Develop detailed product requirements, use cases and success metrics.
  • Contribute to the larger Precision Health Platform strategy, and help identify data sources that would be valuable to combine with Verily and customer data.
  • Understand the policy, technical, and operational aspects of de-identification and data linking as well as industry trends and approaches, and work with internal privacy teams and strategic vendors to implement scalable solutions.
  • Manage the product development lifecycle, including planning, execution, and delivery of new data delivery features with engineering and design counterparts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of Product Management experience developing data platforms and software.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data privacy, tokenization and data linking concepts, vendors and best practices.
  • Experience working with multiple types of healthcare data (e.g., EHR, claims, sensors, genomics, imaging).
  • Proven track record of building, launching and iterating infrastructure or platform products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with different analytics data models like OMOP and CDISC.
  • Experience with cloud based platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Experience in healthcare, health research, life sciences, or similar industries.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $129,000 - $184,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
