Duties & Responsibilities :

The Director of Human Resources works with directors and

department leaders to support HR service strategies; ensures HR programs,

services, and initiatives are appropriately aligned with department and

organization-wide objectives. This role is responsible for planning, leading,

directing, developing, administering, interpreting, and organizing policies,

activities, and personnel within the Human Resources (HR) department. Ensures

legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s mission and talent

strategy. Responsibilities include wage and salary management and

administration, recruitment, employment process, benefit selection and

management, workers’ compensation, unemployment, employee relations, and payroll.

Employee liaison, member of leadership, and participation through involvement

in organization level operations, meetings, and projects.

Experience & Skills Preferred :

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business

Administration, or related field required.

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Human Resources required.
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • SHRM-CP

or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.

  • Comfortable working in a highly visible role.
  • Exceptional integrity, ethical, and dependable.
  • Attentive listener, understanding, empathetic, and

personable.

proven leader with strong interpersonal skills, keen to motivate and

effectively educate and connect department managers and employees

regarding all HR matters.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making

skills that ensure successful human resources management.

The ability to counsel, motivate, and guide HR staff and

department leaders to accomplish organizations goals and objectives.

Time management skills to handle multiple projects

simultaneously and prioritize accordingly.

Strong written communication skills to maintain large amounts

of data and paperwork.

Highly

computer literate in Microsoft Suite (especially Excel) and various HR

software programs including HRIS.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to identify,

analyze, and resolve all HR-related issues.

Strong budgeting skills to efficiently manage HR finances and

resources.

Knowledge of local and federal employment laws and

regulations.

Flexibility to improve and adapt to the needs and demands of

the organization.

Training and development skills to attract, retain, and

maximize employee performance.

Ability to prioritize

tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
