My client, a vibrant music and wine bar in NYC, is seeking a Bar Manager to oversee daily operations and create a memorable guest experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bar management, a passion for music and fine wines, and the ability to lead a team in a lively, fast-paced environment.
This role offers the opportunity to craft unique drink menus, manage inventory, and ensure exceptional service that reflects the bar's upscale yet inviting atmosphere.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in managing bar operations, including staff supervision, inventory control, and customer service
- Expertise in wine and spirit selections, pairing, and mixology to create and maintain a diverse and appealing beverage menu
- Strong leadership skills to effectively train, motivate, and manage bar staff, ensuring high standards of service and team cohesion
- Exceptional ability to provide outstanding customer service, handle guest inquiries and complaints, and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, and sales analysis to manage bar profitability and optimize financial performance
