GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

New York Health Care Inc., now in our 40th year of business, is seeking a full-time Director of Business Development for immediate hire.

This is a hybrid in-office and field supervisory position which will include significant travel within the local area. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established agency with a wide geographic service area, an abundance of existing contractual relationships, and a sterling reputation.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Oversee, manage, and mentor community outreach and marketing representatives.
  • Monitor and supervise field employees to oversee production and enhance outcomes.
  • Act as a liaison to MLTC and MCO contracts and referral sources.
  • Work closely with the Intake department to facilitate member enrollment.
  • Maintain, identify, procure, and facilitate referral sources throughout the community.
  • Oversee the company’s marketing and business development efforts.
  • Propose and develop strategic partnerships.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education :

  • High School Diploma.
  • College preferred.

Experience :

  • MUST have previous experience in health care business development (home care strongly preferred).
  • Previous relationships with referral sources and MLTC and MCO organizations.
  • Previous management of outreach sales and marketing teams.
  • Knowledge of DOH and JCAHO regulations, guidelines, and enrollment process.
  • Excellent communication skills in both oral and written form.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Other :

  • Previous experience using HHA Exchange software.
  • Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply.
