We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Office Assistant in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is within the Security industry, where the selected candidate will be entrusted with the efficient operation of our office environment.
The role involves a variety of tasks ranging from managing files, data entry, handling accounts payable, to maintaining office policies and procedures.
Responsibilities :
- Organize, sort, and archive office files both physically and electronically to ensure efficient data management.
- Execute data entry tasks to accurately collect, store, and update information.
- Handle accounts payable by processing invoices, setting up payments, and recording transactions.
- Assist in the regular review and updating of office policies and procedures.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external clients, addressing and directing office queries as necessary.
- Support other office management tasks and take on additional duties as required.
- Utilize various accounting and financial software systems, including QuickBooks, to perform tasks effectively.
- Perform clerical duties such as filing and answering inbound calls as part of daily operations.
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
- Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently while maintaining precise customer credit records.
- Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
- Experience with ADP - Financial Services
- Ability to create and manage Banner Ads
- Strong knowledge of various Computer Programs
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Experience with 'About Time' software
- Excellent verbal communication skills for Answering Inbound Calls
- Ability to perform Billing Functions
- Experience in executing Clerical Duties
- Proficient in Filing tasks
- Experience in QuickBooks software
- Proficient in Data Entry tasks
