What we are looking for : Metro's Speech Department continues to grow and we are looking for a per diem employee to cover areas of Queens to provide homecare to patients age 65+.
Must have experience with adult population including voice, dysphagia, Parkinson's, Aphasia, and other degenerative neurological disorders.

Pay : $60-$80 per visit

Requirements
Qualifications
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of New York or eligible.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Evaluates a patient's need for speech therapy and develops an appropriate treatment plan.
- Provide appropriate care and treatment to patients based on physician care plan, agency policy and professional standards of care.
- Instructs family members, Home Health Aides, and other caregivers in appropriate speech therapy techniques & HEP
- Mandatory Certifications : First Aid, AED, & CPR Certifications (live course)
