The Mulesoft Sales Programs team is focused on activating our go-to-market sales motions and helping sellers successfully and efficiently create quality pipe gen.

This role combines the creative process of designing prescriptive programs and strategies, with the business end of operationalizing these programs with sales teams to ensure they are executed and produce results.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your primary responsibility will be to use these customer insights to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market sales programs for our Account Executives, with a focus on upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Data Analytics, Product, and Engineering Teams to gain a deep understanding of how existing customers are consuming Mulesoft products.

This person will work closely with the product team to gain an in-depth understanding of Mulesoft products, features, and roadmap and translate technical product details into customer-centric messaging and value propositions for our sellers.

Who You Are

You thrive in the intersection between engineering and sales, fostering understanding and collaboration. You have strong analytics skills and possess deep technical acumen, as you will be seamlessly integrating with our data analytics and product teams.

You are willing to roll up your sleeves and understand the details of how customers purchase and consume Mulesoft, one of Salesforce’s most technical products.

You are comfortable speaking with salespeople to identify hot spots and needs, and then are adept at working cross-functionally with teams such as sales strategy, data science, corporate marketing, product marketing, and the broader enablement team, to deliver programs that meet your sales team’s needs.

Preferred Qualifications

Analytical. You have 3-5 years of experience in data analytics with a proven ability to derive insights from complex data sets.

You are highly proficient in various data analysis and visualization tools, including Tableau and Salesforce Reporting.

  • Technical Competence : You have worked with engineering and product teams in the past and have an understanding of the product lifecycle.
  • Project Management : You possess expertise in developing comprehensive, full-cycle internal projects / programs which includes analysis, development, launch, communications and monitoring.

Bonus if you’ve done this for sales organizations with a pipeline or revenue target.

  • Communicator. You have excellent, polished written and oral communication skills. You have experience articulating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Organized. You have an ability to balance thoroughness, high quality, and efficiency within a high volume of tasks. You understand how to build alignment and keep leadership and cross-functional partners informed.
