How You Will Fulfill Your Potential
Responsibilities
- Documentation of all patient care is required
- Prepare patient by collecting and sharing data; blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, height / weight, Date of LMP, general history and chief complaint and identifies need for medication refills.
Collection of JCAHO required data elements, such as domestic violence, pain, and forms completion.
Assists and / or prepares patients for surgical procedures, tests, treatments and other diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Assists the health care provider in determining current and potential needs and / or problems with the patient
- Document all patient assessment elements obtained.
- participates in the development, implementation, on-going evaluation and revision of nursing procedures
- Assists in the evaluation of supplies, equipment, and facilities
