The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager Senior, End to End to join our Enterprise Marketing and Creative team. The End to End (E2E) function is part of the Program & Project Management unit within USAA’s Creative & Brand Operations organization, a critical part of Brand Marketing and the In-House Creative Agency.
The role demands experience with advertising development process, high-level project organization and management, communication facilitation and delivery, scope management, attention to detail, partner relationships and integration, obstacle management and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
End to End project management involves steady and consistent integration across project management, brand marketing, creative, strategy, research, sponsorships, media, analytics and internal & external partners.
They are the principal project manager on any program or project. E2E daily tasks include project scenario planning, timeline management, project negotiation, process activation, management and facilitation, request acceptance and sharing, team capacity management & prioritization, documentation and facilitation of cross-team communication, file management, meeting management, and project coordination and integration across all partners.
We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in the following location : San Antonio TX.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
What you'll do :
- Drives implementation of low to moderately complex work efforts, working closely with cross-functional teams and resources to achieve deliverables and milestones within established timeframes.
- Plans, directs, organizes resources, and coordinates all project activities for moderately complex work efforts through the development work efforts plans intended to accomplish goals and objectives within prescribed program guidelines, timeframes, scope, and budgets.
- Monitors and reports on business objectives, work efforts achievements, and key indicators.
- Communicates with stakeholders and provides insight on issues through root cause analyses.
- Facilitates collaboration on creative alternatives to work efforts challenges and resolves issues with subject matter experts.
- Removes obstacles and impediments to ensure business and operational objectives are met.
- Develops and tracks project budgets that may include necessary capital expenditures, operational expenses, and labor funding requirements.
- Identifies and applies best practices and needed process improvement; drives adoption and challenges standards.
- Monitors project execution to deliver incremental business value for communication to stakeholders and program managers.
- Participates in the creation of the master work efforts plan from the underlying plans (if applicable).
- Assists in defining the control and the overall delivery of the work efforts to meet the goals, objectives, and success criteria.
- Establishes overall cadence for communication with impacted stakeholders and provides framework for underlying work efforts(s) communication plans.
- Manages risk by using best risk management practices to address execution challenges associated with quality, schedule, and cost, in adherence with risk management framework.
- Drives the adoption and sustainment of changes within the organization in compliance with USAA’s Change Management methodology.
- Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
What you have :
- Bachelors degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- 6 years of relevant experience in project or program management, including planning, tracking and delivery.
- Comprehensive knowledge and demonstrated application of project management tools and methodologies.
- Collaboration skills in a matrixed environment including providing consultative guidance to help solve enterprise level issues.
- Possess a thorough understanding of scope definition, process, and solution mapping; process structures and components;
and standard project planning methodologies.
- Broad experience supporting projects with complex deliverables including information technology and dependencies across organizations.
- In-depth understanding and experience working within risk management policies and procedures.
What sets you apart :
- Experience managing, facilitating and executing end to end campaign project management, specifically ownership and development of project timelines, scenario planning, process activation, communication documentation, file management, agile tracking and documentation support, and meeting management.
- Knowledgeable and proactive end to end project management experience for all campaign tactics / channels including tv (specifically national TV execution), video, social, digital, direct mail, email, print, radio, and other sponsorships / events / on-base marketing materials, and all other as needed on work assignment.
- Expert level experience leveraging workflow tools like Asana or Workfront, preparing and maintaining end to end status reports, recaps, timelines and other end to end project management inputs as needed.
- Expert level proactive partnership and influential collaboration with all brand marketing & creative teams, as well as internal and external partners.
- US military experience through military service or a military spouse / domestic partner.

You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
The salary range for this position is : $89,990 - $172,000 .
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
