Job Details
- RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite.
- Any call offs or additional RTO on unit could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
- Ratios : 1 : 6 flex based on needs in organization
- Shift : 12hr DAYS
- Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!!
- RTO : 7 days MAX for Aya Auto Offer - No Christmas RTO
- Float Requirement : Yes, traveler will work with the CNRO(Centralized Resource Nursing Pool).
- Float Pool currently covers three separate campuses.
- Majority of shifts will be at the main campus but shift can also be scheduled at New Hanover Orthopedic Hospital and Pender Memorial Hospital.
- Staff are notified 2hrs before the start of the shift.
- Candidates will float all medical / Surgical floors
- Weekend Requirement : every other weekend
- Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and / or Hurricane Team.
- Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster.
- Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
- PATIENT DIAGNOSES : Floating between several medical, surgical, and telemetry units.
- Assisting in caring for patients held in our ED who are inpatient.
- SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS : Contract staff may be required to care for patients with COVID.
- During times of increased census typical ratios may be higher.
- UNIT SYSTEMS : PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR.
- SCHEDULING TYPE : based on scheduling gaps
- UNIT ORIENTATION : 24hrs (2 shifts)
- SCRUBS : Navy
