Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technician with at least 3 years of hospital experience, ARDCS or RCS certification, and proficiency in both pediatric and adult echo scanning.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position based in a diagnostic cardiology unit within a hospital setting
  • Performs both adult and pediatric echocardiography
  • Shift is 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • One weekend per month required from 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, with days off during the week for weekend coverage
  • On-call rotation includes 1 weeknight per week (4 : 00 PM-7 : 00 AM) and one weekend per month (Friday 4 : 00 PM to Monday 7 : 00 AM)
  • Uses Epic EMR system
  • May be required to float on-site within current skillset and potentially to other locations within 40 miles
  • Participation in a rotating holiday call schedule is required
  • May work with a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic hospital environment
  • US Social Security Number and US home address required for consideration
  • Local candidates accepted but are subject to a reduced rate in accordance with the facility's radius rule

  • Minimum of 3 years hospital experience in echocardiography
  • ARDCS or RCS certification required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA only)
  • Experience in both pediatric and adult echo scanning
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR is preferred
  • License required if applicable
