Job Title : Application Engineer

Work Type : 6-Month Contract (Potential for Right-to-Hire / Extension)

Location : Hybrid (3x / week) - Brentwood, TN

Must-Haves :

• Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries.
• ETL experience for data migration and integration.
• Solid communication skills.
• Experience working in the database layer, maintaining data within the data warehouse, and ensuring data integrity and availability.

Nice-to-Haves :

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools such as Teradata and SSIS is a plus.

Job Scope :

• Collaborate on the implementation of a new payroll system, working alongside various team members on database and ETL pipeline setup.
• Ensure efficient SQL performance through the optimization of stored procedures and performance tuning.
• Prepare data for business intelligence (BI) tools, focusing on database preparation rather than the BI layer itself.
• Assist in the migration of existing data systems to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
