Under minimal direction, the Warehouse Specialist works alongside the Supply Chain Operations Manager (SCOM), overseeing the entire warehouse operation.
The Warehouse Specialist role is a hybrid role with much of the focus on the warehouse. Other duties may include daily inspection and inventorying of service vehicles, assisting in the warehouse with equipment staging, and ordering replenishment stock parts.
Essential Functions
- Assist the OM with executing day-to-day operations of the warehouse
- Shipping and Receiving material while verifying counts to purchase orders, and inspecting shipments for damage
- Sorting stock materials from job materials
- Maintain desired stocking levels and correctly storing / labeling materials
- Verify all materials that come into the warehouse are correctly received in the ERP system
- During slower times of WHSE requirements - Assisting the Parts team
- Staging materials for installation, shipment, or customer pick up
- Lead in physical inventory and cycle counts to maintain an accurate inventory
- Utilizing company-specific software, field devices, and paperwork to maintain accurate inventory information
- Using hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment (including, but not limited to, box cutters, rolling carts, ladders, pallet jacks, lifts, drills, saws, etc.)
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Performs other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Work requires reasonable judgment in applying and interpreting policy, procedures, or precedents to problems of well-defined nature.
- Schedules delivery trucks, receives, and tracks shipments using the appropriate tools
- Interacts with team members regularly to ensure products and inventory are moved and accounted for.
- Demonstrated practical interpersonal skills to interact with all employees within the organization.
- Demonstrated planning and problem- solving / investigative skills as required to research inquiries related to job responsibilities.
- High School graduation or equivalent is required.
- One (1) year of warehouse experience is preferred.
- One (1) year of forklift and scissor lift experience is preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- In warehouse setting
- Prolonged periods of operating forklift while sitting
- Must be able to lift up to 50+ pounds at times
Travel
This job requires no planned business travel.
Education and Experience
- High School graduation or equivalent is required.
- Warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
