Seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant to work at our contracted county jails in the state of Bell County. Professional will be providing on-site dental care in collaboration with a Dentist, in a controlled / safe environment.
This opportunity provides a great source of supplemental income and a valuable experience in a public health setting, while making a difference in health outcomes for incarcerated individuals.
Responsibilities :
- Set-up and breakdown of room.
- Sterilization of all equipment.
- Take / process x-rays.
- Assist in 4-handed dentistry.
- Work with portable / mobile equipment.
Requirements :
- Graduate of Dental Assistant Program or on the job training
- One (1) year or more dental assisting experience - preferred
- Active x-Ray Certification
- CPR / BLS
- Valid Driver License
- Reliable Transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
