YOUR IMPACT

As the Oracle EBS Apps Developer, you will support the organization's financial systems, including ERP systems, web applications, web services, mobile applications, and integration frameworks.

You will also provide technical support to internal business customers.

LOCATION

• This company, located in Reston, VA, offers a hybrid work model. Reston has been recognized as one of The South's Best Cities on the Rise for 2024, known for its culinary experiences, small-town charm, natural beauty, thriving arts scene, and exciting atmosphere.
• The Oracle Apps Developer is required to be in the office two days per week and must reside within a reasonable commuting distance.

Relocation assistance is available to those living more than 70 miles from the office.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

• Take the lead in supporting Oracle ERP systems, web applications, web services, and integration frameworks.
• Create innovative solutions to meet business needs, collaborating with an agile team of engineers and systems analysts to develop top-tier applications and products.
• Collaborate with vendor technical support, enterprise system administration teams, and project development staff to ensure seamless implementation of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) integrations.
• Provide comprehensive support for software development, web architecture, and maintenance.
• Develop a deep understanding of system and platform interconnections within the company.
• Create detailed technical design documentation and visual prototypes.
• Write and maintain unit, functional, and integration tests for automation.
• Minimize operational downtime by expediting approved changes, fixes, updates, and solutions.
• Implement automation for maintenance tasks, deployment processes, health checks, validation procedures, and reporting.
• Continuously improve the application platform to meet scaling, security, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct thorough code reviews and design evaluations while promoting best practices.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement for enhanced stability and efficiency.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Experience : 5+ years of advanced computer programming skills, including Oracle EBS through release R12.2.11 in a production environment.
• Experience in analyzing functional requirements, system and service architectures, and writing detailed design technical documents.
• Expertise in Oracle EBS RICEFW development, Oracle Database, SQL, PL / SQL, Unix / Linux, JDeveloper, OAF Customizations, etc.
• Significant experience and technical knowledge related to Oracle EBS functional modules and process flows.
• Proficiency in Oracle EBS Web ADI, form personalization, web page personalization, and Procurement / Supply Chain modules.
• Involvement in PL / SQL programming, including stored procedures, constraints, joins, keys, indexes, data import / export, triggers, cursors, and SQL Loader.
• Skills in Oracle Application Framework (OAF), Workflow Builder, and XML Publisher.
• Hands-on experience in programming with Java / J2EE, REST API, SOAP, etc.
• Location : Reston, VA. Reside within a reasonable commute to the office or be willing to relocate to the area upon hire.
