We are seeking a Board Certified Obstetrician / Gynecologist for a 40-day locum tenens assignment in New York starting Jan 5, 2026. This flexible opportunity offers sporadic ongoing scheduling for in-house call, including nights and weekends, with options for weekday and weekend 24-hour shifts available throughout the year. Job Details Location : New York Start Date : Jan 5, 2026 LOA : 40 days Provider Type Needed : Obstetrician / Gynecologist Schedule : Sporadic ongoing dates; nights (5pm-8am, 15 hours), weekends (8am-8am, 24 hours), occasional weekday 24-hour coverage, schedule tailored to provider availability Responsibilities and Duties Provide in-house call coverage for obstetrics and gynecology Manage labor and delivery for approximately 700-750 deliveries annually Respond to Trauma cases as required Collaborate with a NICU team for high-acuity neonatal care Participate in a variety of shift options based on availability, including nights, weekends, and potential weekday 24-hour coverage Additional Information Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required Must hold a current New York medical license Six-month extension possible based on mutual agreement Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
