Five Iron Golf’s core mission is to seamlessly meld golf and entertainment, and in the process make golf inclusive and accessible for all.
We are seeking a Porter. This individual will perform routine maintenance at our Boston location and help out with miscellaneous upkeep and report directly to the General Manager.
Responsibilities include the following :
- Maintain cleanliness of public and work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas including but not limited to :
- Bathrooms
- All Common areas (Simulators, offices, lobby, etc.)
- Remove trash, litter, and laundry from rooms, offices, common areas, kitchens, restrooms, grounds and receptacles
- Garbage
- Cardboard
- Recyclable
- Laundry
- Member clothing
- Towels
- Minor maintenance and repairs
- Replace light bulbs, air filters, blinds, shades and other items as directed
- Repair doors, windows, sink fixtures and inspect areas for unsafe conditions
Required Qualifications :
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Highly reliable and dependable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Previous guest experience preferred
Job Type : Part-time / full-time, non-exempt role
Hours : will vary by week and will be focused on night and weekend shifts
Salary : $15+ an hour
