Job Summary :

The Director of Monitoring Compliance is responsible for ensuring that all organizational operations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, particularly those set forth by the Department of Health (DOH).

This role requires advanced knowledge of compliance standards and regulations, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and report risks to the executive team.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Maintain advanced knowledge of DOH regulations and ensure the organization’s operations are fully compliant with article 47 and article 48.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Identify, assess, and report compliance risks to the executive team.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks and ensure the organization remains in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Create and enforce policies and procedures that promote compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews and updates of compliance policies to ensure they remain current and effective.
  • Communicate compliance-related issues and risks to the executive team in a clear and timely manner.
  • Prepare detailed reports on compliance activities, findings, and recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on compliance requirements and best practices.
  • Ensure all employees understand and adhere to compliance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance is integrated into all aspects of the organization’s operations.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in in a related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of DOH regulations and compliance standards.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience required in a compliance-related role in the Education industry. Preferably in the ECE / Preschool.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership / supervisory role required.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
