Position Summary As a Senior Estimator / Project Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and profitability by estimating, securing, and managing projects.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in public works with demonstrated profitability or a loyal customer base within the private sector.
Your ability to generate sales and manage projects from inception to completion will be key to our continued success.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review project estimates, budgets, and schedules for Earthwork, Underground Utilities, Demolition, or Paving projects.
- Develop compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships with key clients to secure repeat business.
- Lead project planning, execution, and close-out phases, ensuring projects meet client expectations and company standards.
- Manage project teams, resources, and subcontractors to maintain project timelines and profitability.
- Monitor project financials, proactively addressing potential issues to keep projects within budget.
- Foster a positive work environment and ensure adherence to safety standards on all projects.
Qualifications
- Experience : 10+ years in construction estimating and project management, specifically within Earthwork, Underground Utilities, Demolition, or Paving.
- Proven Track Record : Demonstrated success in winning bids and managing profitable projects, whether in public works or private sector.
- Sales Skills : Strong ability to generate sales, with a network of loyal clients or a record of securing public contracts.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in estimating software and project management tools.
