A facility is seeking a psychologist for locum tenens coverage. State Hospital is a secure forensic hospital located on the Central Coast of California.
The majority of the all-male patient population is remanded for treatment by county superior courts or by the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR).
The hospital does not accept voluntary admissions.
The facility is just 25 mins East of Morro Bay, CA.
The psychologist is expected to work a 10 or 12 hour shift Mon-Thursday or Tues-Friday. There is NO EMR, as there will be Paper Charts.
Must have exp providing APA and SRAs. There is time given towards the end of each day to complete notes, etc.
