Position Overview :
Edgesource is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team in support of a USG client located in the Chantilly, VA area.
As part of our talented group of developers, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing a variety of systems.
Our team is currently focused on the containerization of a large Service Bus architecture. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our mission-critical systems.
This position requires a TS / SCI with polygraph security clearance and that all work be performed full-time / onsite at the client facility .
Job Duties :
- Work in a small team in a contractor SCIF to design and test microservices developed in Python
- Build Docker containers to host microservices
- Build Helm Charts to control runtime cloud configurations
- Work with GitLab to maintain source code and CI / CD pipelines
- Gather and analyzed evolving requirements
Required Qualifications :
- Software Development Experience : 10 years w / Bachelors or 14 years
- Experience with building microservices with Python
Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED) :
- Software Development Experience in several of the following :
- Web Service integrations (REST, SOAP, OpenAPI)
- Docker containers
- Pydantic
- Pytest
- Redis
- FastAPI
- Helm Charts
- Kubernetes
