Certified Sterile Processing Tech

Shifts Available : 3 : 00pm -11 : 00pm & 11 : 00pm - 7 : 00am ONLY

Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Sterile Processing Technician Certification is required.

Minimum of one (1) year of related work experience in healthcare setting strongly preferred.

Requires successful completion of the established in-house training program within six months of hire.

Ability to foster a team approach in daily work activities and demonstrates independent judgment when addressing nursing / physicians staff concerns.

Demonstrated analytical ability to monitor and interpret surgical procedure terminology and correlating physician preferences.

Demonstrated problem solving skills necessary to address general trouble shooting situations.

Demonstrated ability to lead employees in a productive manner consistent with the goal of the department.

Ability to communicate effectively with other medical staff personnel and the public.

Ability to provide and follow oral and written instructions and procedures.
