As the Engineering Manager for Corporate Systems, you’ll be helping us define and build out a combination of SaaS and custom applications to support our financial systems and other shared services.
We will look for you to function both as a subject matter expert and advisor for pods, as well as a hands on implementor as needed.
You will be instrumental in defining the north star of our corporate systems and building a team that will help us reach that goal.
We are poised to be the most ubiquitous solution to healthcare data logistics and with your help, we will have a stable, scalable, cost-effective system to support that journey.
In this role you will :
- Build, grow, and lead a world-class team of software engineers who implement solutions to support corporate services (Financial, Legal, and Human Resource) and shared services supporting our internal and external clients.
- Create the technical vision for Datavant’s corporate services.
- Partner with pods, product, security and compliance to accelerate development in a secure compliant way
- Be a thought leader for how we build data systems and pipelines , delivering scalable solutions that will carry us into the future of our business.
- Be the champion & driver of software solutions , processes, and initiatives.
- Be hands-on by leading high impact efforts and directly contributing as an IC.
- Be a strong communicator , engineer, coach, and mentor.
What You Bring to the Table :
- You have 10+ years of engineering experience including multiple years in leadership, building software engineering teams using the latest technologies to build custom applications and manage SaaS solutions.
- You are passionate about building a business that transforms the healthcare industry

- You are comfortable making hard decisions and moving quickly to communicate the tradeoffs you’ve made
- You are noted as one of the best problem solvers in your organization
- You have experience managing a highly functioning team of software engineering teams
- You have experience defining systems level architectural vision and executing on that vision
- You have experience in Heath Care and financial services or other highly regulated fields
- You are highly organized and reliable; you bring clarity and structure to complexity
- You comfortable with the techniques of project planning and communicating the status of projects with executives
- You have experience in identifying urgent situations and can work with the team to resolve issues quickly and efficiently

The estimated salary range for this role is $180,000 - $235,000.
