Sole HR Person for Pharma Client

The Manager of Human Resources will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, fostering a positive work culture, and supporting the growth and development of our team members.

Responsibilities :

• Maintain and update all policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Lead the recruitment process, including creating job postings, reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, and conducting employment background checks.
• Facilitate salary negotiations and execute employment offers.
• Conduct new employee orientation and provide ongoing support and training.
• Manage employee separations and terminations, including conducting exit interviews and handling written counseling notices.
• Keep job descriptions updated for all positions within the organization.
• Administer work-related injury procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with department heads to address interdepartmental issues and promote effective communication.
• Assist in maintaining current licenses, permits, insurances, and certifications.
• Oversee the performance evaluation process and establish annual performance goals for staff members.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and manage the flow of personnel information between departments.
• Develop, review, and suggest changes to Human Resources policies and procedures as needed.
• Provide reports on Human Resources activities as requested by the supervisor.
• Pursue continuing education programs to stay updated on industry best practices and regulations.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Human Resources practices, including employee hiring, training, coaching, and termination procedures.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and delegate tasks.
• Excellent organizational and decision-making abilities with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other HR software systems.
• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
• Professional demeanor with a strong work ethic and problem-solving aptitude.
