Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in the medical device industry to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, a deep understanding of medical device development and regulatory requirements, and exceptional leadership abilities.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex medical device projects on time and within budget.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and launch of innovative medical devices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Project Planning and Execution :
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate and manage project activities to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration :
• Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, including engineering, regulatory, quality, manufacturing, and marketing.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
• Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure project success.
• Risk Management and Problem-Solving :
• Identify and assess project risks, developing mitigation strategies.
• Proactively address and resolve project issues and challenges.
• Conduct regular project reviews and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance :
• Ensure project compliance with relevant medical device regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485).
• Work closely with regulatory and quality teams to prepare documentation for regulatory submissions and audits.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to quality assurance processes and protocols.
• Stakeholder Management :
• Communicate project status, progress, and risks to senior management and stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide regular project updates.
• Continuous Improvement :
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in medical device development.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to project management processes and tools.
• Implement lessons learned and best practices to enhance future project performance.
Qualifications :
• Education :
• Education :
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience :
• 7+ years of project management experience, with at least 5 years in the medical device industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex medical device projects from concept to launch.
• Technical Skills :
• Strong understanding of medical device development processes and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira).
• Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems is a plus.
• Certifications :
• PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Soft Skills :
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of risk management tools and techniques (e.g., FMEA, risk registers).
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles and practices.
