Our growing personal injury law firm located in the Orange County area seeks a highly positive and motivated full-time Case Manager to help support our Workers’ Compensation Department.

No experience is needed, but it’s nice to have; we are willing to train the ideal candidate.

Compensation :

Starting at $21.00 / hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities :

• Manage Caseload : Handle a substantial caseload of injured workers' files, ensuring all necessary actions are taken promptly.
• Set up medical treatment for injured workers.
• Follow up with injured workers regarding medical treatment and benefits.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters to facilitate medical treatment and make demands for benefits.
• Communicate with injured workers on the status of the case and provide excellent customer service.
• Take detailed notes regarding case status and communications with involved parties and injured workers.
• Set up new insurance claims in the practice management system.
• Input data into a web-based practice management system.
• Assist in developing case records.
• Ensure the client’s injuries are provided medical care & addressed by doctors promptly.
• Verify medical reports and bills are received correctly and timely.
• Identify relevant records and locations for copy services and coordinate with copy services.
• Ensure requests and subpoenas for records are sent out timely.
• Prepare client files for hearings.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.

Qualifications for Position :

• Bilingual (English / Spanish) required.
• Strong grammar skills.
• People person.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong organization skills.
• Ability to handle many tasks at once.
• 65 WPM.
• Candidate must be eager to learn, grow, and perform responsibilities to the best of their ability.
• Comfortable with using Apple Computers (preferred but not mandatory).
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• We run a paperless office and only use Apple computers.
