Overview

The CQC Analyst II is responsible for performing and analyzing a variety of QC tests according to Standard Operating Procedures and accurately documents results via established product specifications. This position reports to the CQC Manager and is part of the Custom QC department located in Coralville, IA, and will be an on-site role. Working hours are Monday-Friday 7 AM - 3 : 30 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and analyze a variety of QC tests according to Standard Operating Procedures and accurately document results via established product specifications.
  • Perform data entry and peer review for accuracy in accordance with lab procedures.
  • Perform maintenance and calibration on a variety of specialized equipment and assist in troubleshooting as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a science related field required. (Biology, Genetics, Chemistry or related life science field preferred); Alternatively, an Associate's degree or equivalent with 2 years of IDT experience.
  • 2 years applicable lab experience.

  • PCR and qPCR
  • Next Generation Sequencing
  • Enzymatics
